University Christian Church

This impressive Fort Worth church is located directly across the street from the Texas Christian University campus. The historic building has had a variety of roofs dating back to the initial construction. The tile was distinctive Ludowici, which was no longer available except through special order. There were a number of architectural features including ornamental copper work, dormers, and half round gutters. The roof was replaced reusing the existing tile where possible. Tiles from the large section at the back of the main building were used in more prominent sections and replaced with new tiles similar in appearance.
