Cindy Chadwell, AIA, RRC,
President/Chief Executive Officer, is a Principal Architect with 20 years
experience in Architectural Design and Construction, including both
interior and exterior work. She has extensive experience managing all
phases of Construction Projects. Her accomplishments include:

Ms. Chadwell manages daily operations including financial planning, human
resources, marketing, quality assurance, and general management of all
investigation, testing, design, and construction administration project
closeouts. She is responsible for the successful completion of all roofing
and waterproofing projects. Some of her larger projects include the
American Airlines Flight Academy, the American Airlines Learning Center,
the Sam Rayburn and Olin Teague VA Centers, the Museum of Modern Art in
Fort Worth, Texas, the Fort Worth P&DC Mail Facility and the Exxon
World Headquarters in Irving, Texas.
Stephen L. Patterson, PE, CPRC, RRC, Director of Engineering Services,
is a Licensed Professional Engineer and Certified Professional Roofing
Consultant with 30 years experience. He consults for insurance companies,
provides expert testimony for litigation, and is engineer-of-record on
design. His accomplishments include:

Mr. Patterson's experience and training are virtually unsurpassed in the
roofing field. He has been extensively involved in the research and
development of roof coatings, single ply roofing, and built-up roofing,
having traveled much of the world investigating and solving roofing
problems. He has evaluated and designed all types of roofing systems,
including built-up, metal, tile, slate, composition, single ply, and
sprayed-in-place foam.
Project Management Staff
Michael Christopher, Director of Roof
Management Services and Registered Roofing Consultant (RRC #0442). He
has 13 years experience in providing roofing and waterproofing
investigation, analysis, and design. He has guided many roofing and
waterproofing projects from the Investigation/ Assessment Phase through all
phases of Design. He received his B.S. Degree in Environmental Design from
Texas A&M University. He is an Associate AIA and is currently preparing
for certification as a Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC). At
ROOFTECH, Mr. Christopher develops and maintains all Roof Asset Management
programs, including investigation for damage assessment, Executive
Summaries, budgeting for repair and replacement, and Long-Term Planning. He
provides Plan Reviews for numerous Architects and General Contractors on
all new construction projects.
Dave Long, C.I.T., Project Manager, has 31 years
experience in testing, inspecting, and quality control of all types of
roofing, sheet metal, and waterproofing related projects. Mr. Long provides design of roofing
and waterproofing projects from schematic design through construction
documentation. Mr. Long is a
Certified Infrared Thermographer, Level I, with the Infraspection
Institute. He has experience
providing infrared thermography, moisture content, impedance, built-up roof
analysis, and gradation of gravel testing. He is responsible for managing the testing of all
roofing projects. He directs
and oversees the testing and laboratory services for investigation, design,
and construction administration.
Madan Mehta, Ph.D., PE, M.Bdg.Sc., B.Arch., Senior Construction
Specialist, is a Professor of Architecture at the University of Texas
at Arlington (UTA) and a part time Construction Consultant for ROOFTECH. He
is a licensed professional engineer and an expert in construction and
material science and is experienced in all areas of architectural design
including roofing, architectural structures, and acoustics. Dr. Mehta has
been a practicing architect and has taught architecture on 4 continents. He
has written 4 full-length books on construction. Dr. Mehta brings a
combination of practical experience and the academic discipline to our
team. Dr. Mehta has worked with Stephen L. Patterson for the past 6 years,
and works directly for ROOFTECH on a part time basis on special projects
where his expertise is required.
Ralph H. Ellerbrock, Senior Construction Specialist, has over 44
years experience in design, engineering, manufacturing, and sales of windows,
doors, and curtain walls to the construction industry. Mr. Ellerbrock is
experienced in architectural aluminum products and has extensive experience
in evaluating, inspecting, and making recommendations for long-term
remedial corrections of failed products or faulty installations of windows,
doors, and curtain walls on existing commercial buildings.
Jimmy Stowe, RRO, Project Manager, has over 34 years experience in
the construction industry, 12 years in the roofing industry, and 8 years
with ROOFTECH. He has extensive experience with structural and roofing
evaluations. Mr. Stowe managed the instrumentation and controls in the
installation of the Comanche Peak Nuclear Facility, as well as at numerous
paper mills and petrochemical plants. At ROOFTECH, Mr. Stowe supervises and
coordinates all areas of the inspection of roof assemblies. He is
responsible for all projects south and west of ROOFTECH's corporate office.
Benny Hall, RRO, Project Manager, has 22 years experience in the
industrial construction industry, including 10 years supervision, 4 years
in piping and instrumentation design and drafting, and 5 years in roofing.
Mr. Hall managed all penetrations through walls and floors during the
installation of the Comanche Peak Nuclear Facility. At ROOFTECH, Mr. Hall
oversees and performs full-time and periodic inspections of roofing
projects to ensure roof applications are performed in accordance with
construction specifications and Industry Standards. He is responsible for
all projects north and east of ROOFTECH's corporate office.
Larry Treadway, RRO, Designer/ Sr. Technical Observer, is a Union
Sheet Metal Worker with over 25 years experience in roofing and sheet
metal. He has worked as a Roofing Observer for ROOFTECH for 9 years. He has
inspected and evaluated millions of square feet of roofing, with special
expertise in slate, copper, and tile roof systems. At ROOFTECH, he performs
full-time roof observations, assists with all types of testing (including
infrared and water testing) and roofing design.
Shawn Clark, Construction Contract Administrator, has 13 years
experience in office administration with 7 years in Contract
Administration. She holds a B.A. degree in Recreational Leadership and
Psychology from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Ms. Clark handled
contract administration for the Fort Worth Transportation Authority
(Trinity Railway Express), the North Texas Tollway Authority (DNT Phase 3
& PGBT Segment IV), and DFWIA (Terminal C Expansion & ATSAC II
Integrated Partners Joint Venture). At ROOFTECH, Ms. Clark prepares and
executes contract documents, pay applications, and change orders. She
verifies the Davis Bacon Wage Rate compliance of certified payroll, tracks
projects, and provides project closeout documentation in accordance with
contract specifications.
