American Airlines Maintenance Base

After a rigorous interview process, American Airlines chose ROOFTECH as the Roof Consultant for all roofs on this $800 million project. This project involved 10 architectural firms and 12 buildings with more than 2,000,000 SF of roofing. ROOFTECH performed all design, inspection, and testing. The hangar is the largest cantilevered structure in the world with continuous-length metal panels in excess of 200'. These panels were fixed in the middle, resulting in an expansion joint at virtually all of the terminations. According to the Project Manager for American Airlines, this was the first project completed by AA that had no leaks.
